Now, the 2017 edition has been concluded. It was the first LAN season, and it was handled by MLG, Activision, and Infinity Ward. 16 teams competed in the group stage of the tournament, and they were placed into four different groups. They competed in the normal round -robin format. But here, it was in a double round robin system, presenting great betting opportunities for the fans. The red group is the first here, and they played their games from April 21st-23rd, and the blue group played there from April 28th-30th. The yellow group had theirs from May 5th-7th, while the green group had theirs from May 12th-14th. The best of 5 series saw the best 2 teams to the playoffs. They also qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship and the 2017 CWL Anaheim Open Pool Play, Stage 2. The third placed team qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship and the 2017 CWL Anaheim Open Pool Play, Stage 2 too. The teams at the bottom of the logs were relegated.
What Determined The Tiebreakers This Year?
The tiebreakers in the tournament were determined by several factors. They included the match win percentage on the head to head meetings, the game win percentage on the head to head pairings, and the total or overall game win percentage.
