In a new edition of his daily vlog series released on Monday, July 3rd, Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez, Owner of OpTic Gaming, details the future of the former CS:GO house with a new member set to move in.

The house located in the Chicago suburbs never fully housed the entire OpTic CS:GO roster, and became somewhat impractical for the size of the property.

With an indoor pool, six car garage, and full hockey rink, the house would remain empty for long periods of time due to the team traveling often for tournaments.

Now vacant, Ryan ‘OpTic J’ Musselman, the COO of OpTic Gaming, will move from Arizona to Illinois, allowing him to be closer to the Chicago-based organization. H3CZ believes that J will provide a positive outlook for him and the organization as a whole, also to help balance the day-to-day operations of the fan favorite team.

The CS:GO house has been a hot topic of debate, with many wondering what H3CZ would do with the property now that no professional players actually inhabit the space.

Team houses, in general, have received scrutiny from the esports community for numerous reasons. Some believe that the house environment for a professional esports team leaves no room for transparency between the players, thus making it more difficult for true progression in-game.

H3CZ informs that he will detail the actual move-in process of J in a different vlog.
